Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is DMarketplace?

DMarketplace is a Web3 crypto commerce platform for digital gift cards: you choose a gift card, pay with cryptocurrency and receive the code by email. Payments are executed on-chain, with reduced reliance on intermediaries such as banks or centralized payment processors.

What products are available on the platform?

Digital gift cards from more than 1,000 brands, for example for shopping, gaming, travel, food and entertainment.

Physical products such as Web3 merchandise are not available at the moment. The portfolio is continuously expanding based on demand and partnerships.

Which regions are supported?

We currently offer gift cards for the United States, the United Kingdom and Germany. Some cards are marked as worldwide.

Gift cards are region-locked: a card can usually only be redeemed in the country it was issued for, often on an account registered there. Every card shows its region and currency, and the shop lists the cards that match the country you select in the header.

Check the region before you buy. A card bought for the wrong region usually cannot be redeemed, and getting around region locks can void refund rights.

How do I pay with crypto?

Checkout opens Request Network's secure payment page. You can pay with a supported token on Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism or Polygon; the payment is converted and settles in USDC on Base. The payment page shows which tokens you can use.

You need a crypto wallet to pay.

Can I pay with $DMP?

Not at the moment: $DMP cannot be used as a payment method at checkout yet.

In which currency are prices displayed?

You can display prices in $BTC (Bitcoin Standard) as a consistent and globally recognized crypto reference, or in ETH, USDT, USDC or your local currency. Choose the display currency in the header.

BTC exchange rates are updated every minute.

At checkout your total is fixed in US dollars. After you start the payment you have 5 minutes to open the payment page; if the quote expires, simply start again.

What are the delivery times?

Gift cards are delivered digitally: you receive the code or a claim link by email. Delivery starts automatically once your payment has been confirmed.

Some orders are checked by our team before delivery, for example large orders from new accounts or payments that do not match the order amount. Delivery then continues once the check is complete.

If you have an account, delivered codes are also shown under Orders in your account.

Do I need an account?

No. For gift cards you can check out as a guest with just your email address, and the code is sent there. With an account or a connected wallet you can see your orders and delivered codes at any time.

Who sells the gift cards?

All gift cards are currently sold and delivered by DMarketplace. The codes come from our gift card supplier and are issued by the respective brands, which handle redemption and their own customer service.

How are refunds handled?

Digital gift cards are generally non-refundable once delivered or revealed, except where required by law, where a code is demonstrably invalid, or where the product listing offers a refund.

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment path where technically possible. Blockchain settlement can affect how quickly funds arrive.

What if my code does not work?

Contact support right away via @dMarketplaceSupportBot on Telegram and include your order number. A demonstrably invalid code is one of the exceptions to the no-refund rule for digital codes.

Redemption itself is governed by the issuing brand: if a valid code cannot be redeemed, for example because of the account region, the brand's customer service is responsible.
